What E@L Was Listening To In The Late 70's

Leo Kottke from the "Chewing Pine" era.

Imagine E@L in one room plucking away valiantly, wife and baby in the other, on the guitar that he shouldn't have bought (2nd hand Ovation left-handed - what, I'm gonna let it slip by?), wondering why his musical efforts weren't sounding anywhere near this good...

It's called TALENT.

Twelve string and all; something else.
Nice one!
Are you still playing.
I gave it up years ago, though I’m the first one to jump for the guitar in someone else’s place; make a idiot out of myself in the first minute, and put it down saying I must buy one day.
Maybe one day man.

I'm like that too a aprties, or I used to be, but I'm left handed, can't just grab any old guitar. I pluck away still now and then though. I used to do a mean version of Last Steam Engine Train (just 9 bar blues with fancy picking), but I just don't practice any more, who is around to listen? My son is kick-arse good on the (right handed) guitar. He's scary good.
